Vladimir Putin Launches New Terrifying Super Stealth Submarine. See Photos

Vladimir Putin has dismissed claims he is planning to invade another country calling warnings of a new Cold War 'stupid' and 'unrealistic' as Russia launches a new super stealth submarine. The Russian leader has been speaking at the Valdai Club in Sochi at a time of rising tensions between his country and Western leaders.

It comes as it has been revealed that British troops have taken part in international military drills in Germany after Russia bumped up its European border forces.

But during his interview today, Putin insisted he didn't want world domination or a confrontation with any country, adding that Russia 'values its independence.'

Putin made the speech as the Russian navy unveiled their new super-stealth submarine, which will be deployed in the Black Sea.

The Veliky Novgorod is the latest addition to the Black Sea fleet and is capable of striking land, sea and underwater targets.
