Swimming Legend Michael Phelps Weds His Longtime Girlfriend In Style

Michael Phelps and Nicole Johnson walked down the aisle in a lavish outdoor ceremony in Cabo, Mexico on Saturday - months after secretly obtaining a Record of Marriage in the United States. The Olympic legend posted a picture of the ceremony on Instagram on Sunday, captioned: 'My best friend.... I love you!!'

It shows a grinning Phelps looking dapper in a light-colored suit as he walks hand in hand down the aisle with his bride with their five-month-old son Boomer watching from the arms of bridesmaid Allison Schmidtt.

Phelps, 31, confirmed that he and his longtime girlfriend did get married in June in a Facebook Live video on Thursday, but did not reveal why he kept it quiet.
